What if a product is out of stock or on backorder?

When you place a backorder with Muscle & Trucks, it means the part is out of stock at all available inventory warehouses. In most cases, this means that the part is not available nationwide and we are all waiting on the manufacturers to replenish stock. With many material shortages, some products have experienced fulfillment delays. When a product does arrive, it begins shipping out immediately in the queue orders are received. If your order is back-ordered, canceling your order may delay your fulfillment if replaced here or elsewhere, as your order moved to the back of the line. 

Why does my backorder ETA change?

Muscle & Trucks ETAs on backorder products are generated directly from manufacturers and provided to you. Our goal is to get you what you need, as fast as possible, but to also provide transparency based on ETAs provided by the manufacturers. If you don't or can't wait any longer, message us, and we can help you find an alternative product.

Can I get a discount for the delayed time on my parts? 

Muscle & Trucks offers the deepest discounts available up front and is at the mercy of manufacturer ETAs, because of this, we are not able to discount your order further to compensate for delays.

How can I contact customer service?

Customer service can be contacted via email or live text during business hours only. We do not have an after-hours answering service at this time.

How do I receive order updates?

As your order status updates you will receive notifications via the email address used to complete your order. For an immediate update on your order, please contact us via text and we will respond as quickly as possible. 

Where's my tracking information?

Your order will have shipped from one of the authorized Muscle & Trucks inventory locations. We utilize distribution centers located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Nevada. Some orders may be dropped directly from the vendor or manufacturer if available for an additional fee. As soon as your tracking info becomes available, it is sent to you via email to the email address used to complete your order. Special arrangements may need to be made for international orders and oversize or freight packages.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times are dependent on the product being ordered, where the product is inventoried, and the order’s ship-to location. Many items can ship quickly, however, if it's an oversized item, back ordered item, special order, or shipping to a remote location, shipping times will take longer than usual. 

If your order contains a product(s) with an unusually long ETA, our team will contact you to verify if the ETA is acceptable. If the order is in stock at the time of placing the order it will be shipped out the same day in most cases.

Is the item in stock?

Muscle & Trucks uses three main warehouses strategically located throughout the US which house live inventory. You can easily view available inventory when on any product page. Look for a box under the finance options and product price to see available live inventory. 

Regularly stocked products are our "In Stock" items and will have a clear product count located right below the financing icons. 

“Special Order” products are not typically inventoried, custom, or built-to-order products. These items always ship directly from the manufacturer and as such have longer ETAs. These times vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. You will be notified via clear warning messaging before placing a “Special Order”. These products CANNOT be canceled once the order has been placed with the manufacturer, nor returned after being received. 

“Back Order” products or out-of-stock items are back ordered from the manufacturer and ETAs are based on manufacturer productions, shipping, and replenishment times.

My package arrived damaged what do I do?

In the event a product arrives damaged at your location, please follow the steps listed below. All damaged items must be reported to the shipping carrier immediately and you must notify Muscle & Trucks within 48 Hours of receiving your order. If these steps are not followed, your shipment claim may be denied by the shipping company and or Muscle & Trucks.

If you receive a damaged shipment, please use the following procedure:

  • IMMEDIATELY contact Muscle & Trucks and the shipping carrier. 
  • Keep all damaged products in the original packaging and box.
  • Make a list of the damaged or lost item(s) from your order. 
  • Muscle & Trucks will contact the shipper once we receive the email info above to schedule a pickup if needed. DO NOT send it back to the return address without written approval from Muscle & Trucks to ensure your return is processed correctly and without delay. 
  • Once the product is received back and inspected, a replacement or credit will be issued.
How do I return an order?

If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned within 30 days of the original order date and a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply. To return an item, it must be in brand new condition with the original packaging. If the item cannot be resold or is a special order or built-to-order item, we cannot accept a return. Shipping is nonrefundable in either direction unless approved by Muscle & Trucks. All items wanting to be returned MUST be reported within 30 days of the original invoice date. After 30 days returns will no longer be accepted unless otherwise stated by Muscle & Trucks. All products shipped from any of the Muscle & Trucks warehouses are shipped via FedEx, USPS, UPS, DHL, or Freight services and may require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release. FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL have package pick-up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. If the package is returned to Muscle & Trucks or the manufacturer without an RMA from us, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs or pay a 25% restocking fee if you choose to not have the item reshipped. These fees will be charged to your account on file or will be invoiced to you.

I placed an order but I want to cancel it how do I do that?

If you need to cancel an order, please alert us within an hour of your order being placed. An order that has shipped from our location or a supplier cannot be canceled, these are classified as returns. Our order process relies on automation for quick and efficient order fulfillment, so once your order is placed, our system begins the shipping process. Unfortunately, once it has been packaged and shipped, it cannot be redirected and a return process would need to be started. All returns may be subject to applicable restocking fees. “Special Order” items or built-to-order products will not be able to be returned. For this reason, it is extremely important to check your invoice or order form.
